Today we are sharing a guide to perform hard reset on Sony Xperia C5 and C5 Ultra Dual smartphone. There are few important things to check before hard resetting. The first thing is to back up your data because hard resetting erases all of your data and settings. The second thing is to charge your phone battery more than 50% to prevent unexpectedly shut down. Here are three different ways to hard reset on Xperia C5 Ultra and C5 Ultra Dual.

 

Hard Reset – Method 01

Step 01. Navigate to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone > Erase Everything

Hard Reset – Method 02

Step 01. Please turn off your mobile phone completely.

Step 02.Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power keys at the same time until you have option menu on the screen.

Step 03. Select Recovery option with volume key and select it with power key.

Step 04. When the Android Logo with the yellow triangle appears on the screen, press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down together to boot to recovery mode.

Step 05. In the recovery mode, navigate to wipe data/factory reset using volume button and select it using power button.

Step 06. Select Yes – delete all user data and then select reboot system now.

 

Hard Reset – Method 03

Step 01. Please open the dial pad (dialer app) on your phone.

Step 02. Now type the following code: *#*#7378423#*#*

Step 03. When you have the menu, please select Customization Settings and then select Reset Customization.

Step 04. Now select OK to process hard resetting.
