I tried to perform Windows 7 installation using Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro Retina this morning. It seemed everything was going ok until I got this error message while rebooting to Windows 7 (File: \windows\system32\drivers\AppleSSD.sys). I thought I got this error message due to my mistake so what i’ve tried to resolve the problem is to perform re-installation, but didn’t work. I spent some time on this issue and finally I found the way to get rid of this error. Today I would like to share how to fix this error screen. Step 01. Turn on your Macbook pressing and holding Option key to boot to Mac OS X.

Step 02. Please visit this site NTFS for Mac and download the software to get a permission to access Windows files.

Step 03. Once you installed the NTFS for Mac software, please navigate to bootcamp\windows\system32\drivers

Step 04. Find and Delete AppleSSD.sys

Step 05. Restart to Windows 7. Problem should be fixed.
