Here is an instruction of performing hard reset & wipe cache on Xiaomi Mi 4c. Factory Reset will delete all of your data so please be careful if you have important data. You can consider to perform factory reset if your phone is running too slow or keeps freezing when it’s in use or keeps getting an issue. Before starting hard reset, please check those following notes.

  • Try to perform wipe cache first before hard reseting. Wiping cache might resolve the problem.
  • Make sure that your battery is fully charged.
  • Back up your important data (pictures and videos)

 

How to Wipe Cache

Step 01. Turn off your phone completely.

Step 02. Press and Hold down Volume Up + Power buttons at the same time. Release all buttons when the Mi Logo appears on the screen.

Step 03. Select your language using the volume and select it using the power button.

Step 04. Now choose Wipe & Reset and then Wipe Cache.

How to Factory Reset

Step 01. Please turn off your phone completely.

Step 02. Press and Hold down Volume Up + Power buttons at the same time. Release all buttons when the Mi Logo appears on the screen.

Step 03. When the language options appears on the screen, navigate and select the language using volume and power buttons.

Step 04. Press the volume down button to navigate to Wipe & Reset and select it with the power button.

Step 05. Select Wipe All Data and then Select Yes to confirm.

Step 06. When it’s done, press the power button to select Back button.

Step 07. Select Reboot and then Reboot to system using the power button.
