Did you forget your lock screen password for your Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6? Now, you need a factory reset to unlock your cellphone. Don’t Worry! We are going to show you how to do a factory reset on Galaxy S3, S4, S5, S6. There is one important thing you should do before the factory reset. Backing-up! You have to backup all the files(pictures, songs, etc) from your cellphone before you do the factory resetting. However, follow the instruction and hope you reset the forgotten password on your cellphone successfully.

 

How to Back-Up before the factory reset

Step 01. Connect your Galaxy cellphone to your computer > Go to My Computer

Step 02. You can probably see your SD card drive which came from your cellphone.

Step 03. Double click on the SD card drive > Try to backup all the data (Pictures and songs).

 

Factory Reset

Step 01. Turn off your Galaxy Cellphone

 

Step 02. Press and hold Home + Power + Volume Up button together at the same time.

 

Step 03. If the Samsung logo appears on the screen, Release only the Power button, Keep holding the Home and Volume Up button.

 

Step 04. If you are accessing to the Android System Recovery Mode, Now you can release all the buttons.

 

Step 05. Select Wipe Data and Factory Reset using volume buttons and then Press the Power button.

 

Step 06. Select Yes Delete All User Data and then Press Power button.

 

Step 07. Select Now system reboot and Press Power button.

 

Step 08. Now, Try to configure all settings. Don’t try to forget your password this time 🙂
