Resolving Netflix Silverlight Error 1001 on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP and Vista.

Solution. Remove and Reinstall the Silverlight Software. (Available on Windows 7, 8, XP, and Vista)

Close all the Internet browsers that is opened.

– Go to Windows Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Programs & Features.

Find the Microsoft Silverlight software and uninstall this software.

Download and Reinstall the SILVERLIGHT. <- (Click this to download)

– Try Netflix again.

Note. If you are still having same issues, you should restore to previous date. Here is a explanation of how to restore to previous date.

 

How to Restore to Previous Date

– Go to Windows Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools.

– Launch the System Restore and Click Next then Choose the previous point that you would want.

– It take some times to restore and it’s going to be rebooted by itself.

– After the reboot, Try Netflix again.
