If your Surface won’t wake up after you put it in the sleep mode, don’t worry! We are here to help you! There is a bunch of people who are having the won’t turn on issue after putting it in the sleep mode. Today we are going to share few ways to resolve the won’t turn on issue from the sleep mode on Surface Pro 4. Please follow the instruction step by step.

 

1. Charge

Sometime low battery causes this issue. So we are going to try to charge it more than 30 minutes then turn it on. Please check if your surface has enough battery power.

Step 01. Plug in your surface and charge it for at least 30 minutes.

Step 02. Press and Hold the Power key for 30 Seconds until the screen turns on. If it didn’t work for you, please try the next step.

 

2. Reset With Hotkeys

Step 01. Please connect the keyboard to the Surface Pro 4.

Step 02. Press and Hold down the Windows logo key Windows logo +Control+Shift+B for few seconds. Screen should turn on. If there is no responding, try the next step.

 

3. Force to Restart

Step 1. Press and Hold Down the Power key about 30 seconds until the screen turns on. If the screen turns on, Keep holding down the Power key another 30 seconds until the Surface turns off. So you are holding the power button for about 1 minute.

Step 02. Now your Surface is turned off. Press the power key to turn it on.

 

4. Two Keys Reset

Step 01. Make sure your Surface is completely turned off. Press the Power key for 30 seconds to completely turn off.

Step 02. Press and Hold Down Volume UP + Power keys together for about 15 seconds. When the screen turns on, Keep holding the Volume Up + Power button for another 15 seconds.
