Today we are going to share how to perform hard reset on Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace. There is few important things before performing hard reset. Since hard resetting erases all of your data and personal settings, it’s safe to create a backup for your important data. If you decided to perform hard reset just because your phone is frozen? or not turning on? we recommend you to perform soft reset first, because it can resolve the issue without removing data.

Additionally, we recommend to fully charge your phone because if it’s shut down unexpectedly during the hard reset progress, it can cause more serious problems into your phone.  If you are ready to perform factory reset? Let’s do it!

Soft Reset

Press the Power button for about more than 10 seconds until the phone shuts down and turn on with vibration.

Hard Reset

Step 01. Turn off the device. (Press the power button for 2 – 3 seconds > Tab on Power Off)

Step 02. Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power buttons together at the same time until Samsung logo appears on the scree.

Step 03. Press the volume down button to move to wipe data/factory reset and press the power button to confirm it.

Step 04. Select Yes – delete all user data and then select reboot system now with the volume down and power keys

Step 05. Now your device restored to its factory settings.
