Please note that you are formatting your external storage. “Backup your files before you format your external storage to ExFAT type”

 

Step 01. Go to Application > Utilities > Disk Utility

 

Step 02. Select your external hard drive or USB > Erase tab > Select ExFAT format type > Click Erase Button
