How to find remaining hard drive space in Windows 8, 7, and Vista

1. In Windows 8, move your mouse cursor to the left-bottom edge of screen, then right-click. This will bring up a menu. Click “File Explorer”.

3. You can check the hard drive’s total capacity, used space, and free space.

1. Click “Start” button in the left-bottom of your screen.
2. Move your mouse cursor on “Computer” or “My Computer”, and right-click, then click “Properties”.
3. Now, you will see your hard drive under “Hard Disk Drives”. Select a hard drive and right-click, then click “Properties”.
