We hope you can use more battery life in good condition through the tip below.

General Battery Maintenance (charge it when battery level is at 20% – 40%)

1. Try to fully charge your macbook pro retina every time your battery level is at 20% – 40% (Sometime, it’s good to charge when your battery level is at 50 – 70%).

Monthly Battery Calibration (Important! Do this once a month)

1. Fully charge your battery and leave it plugged in for at least 2 hours even though it’s fully charged.

2. Plug off the MagSafe power adapter and use your macbook pro retina until it turns off. (you will get a warning message that you don’t have enough battery. Ignore that message and keep using it, then it will be turned to sleep mode automatically.)

3. NOW, DO NOT PLUG THE MAGSAFE POWER ADAPTER IN yet. Let your macbook sleep for at least 1 to 5 hours to drain your battery completely.

4. After 1 to 5 hours, plug the power adapter back in and let it fully charge.

5. Once fully charged, leave it plugged in for at least 1 hour.

5. Now your battery is calibrated properly.

Repeat the steps above once a month. You will see your battery life and condition are getting increased.
