Fn +F works !!! then is asking for F8,
then choose Repair computer

Tried F10, alt+F10, F8 and alt+F8. None of them worked

In reply to Sobem. Hello, try the other F keys too. Like F2, F1 ... or for some Acer models, you need to press the F keys while holding "Fn" key. Try this.

Thanks for the direction. Unfortunately repeatedly hitting f8 or f10 did not move the Acer laptop into recovery or reset mode. Any other ideas? Thanks.
