Performing Hard Reset & Soft Reset on Samsung Galaxy J7 (Factory settings)

We are going to share how to perform hard reset and soft reset on Samsung Galaxy J7 smartphone. Hard Resetting restores your phone to tis factory default settings, so please be careful before performing hard reset. Please check the followings before the hard reset.

Before Performing hard reset, Please check the followings:

  • Make sure your battery is charged more than 50% (Could be turned off while operating hard reset).
  • Try to make a backup file (Hard resetting erases all of your files and personal settings)
  • Try to perform soft reset first before hard resetting. (Soft reset might resolve the issues)

 

How to Soft Reset

Method 01. Press the power button for about 10 – 15 seconds. > Release the power button when the phone shuts down and reboots with the vibration.

Method 02. Try to remove and replace the battery

 

How to Hard Reset

Step 01. Please shut down your phone completely. (Press the power button for few seconds and tab on Power Off)

Step 02. Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys together at the same time and release all keys when the Samsung Logo appears on the screen.

Step 03. As soon as you get into the Android system recovery mode, Navigate to wipe data/factory reset using the volume down button and select it with the power button.

Step 04. It will ask you to confirm “Confirm wipe of all user data?”. Select Yes – delete all user data

Step 05. Now select reboot system now.
