Hard Resetting on Samsung Galaxy E5 (factory reset)

Here is a guide of performing hard reset and soft reset on Samsung Galaxy E5. We recommend you to back up your phone before performing hard reset, because it erases all the data and settings on your phone. Here is one more thing to tell you! Try to perform soft reset first before hard resetting. Sometime soft reset could resolve the problem.

 

HOW TO SOFT RESET

Method 01. Press the power button for about 10 – 15 seconds. > Release the power button when the phone shuts down and reboots.

Method 02. Try to remove and replace the battery

 

HOW TO HARD RESET

Step 01. Turn off your phone completely. (Press the power button for few seconds and tab on Power Off)

Step 02. Press and Hold Home + Volume Up + Power keys together at the same time about 10 seconds.

Step 03. As soon as you get into the Android system recovery mode, Navigate to wipe data/factory reset using the volume down button and select it with the power button.

Step 04. It will ask you to confirm “Confirm wipe of all user data?”. Select Yes – delete all user data

Step 05. Now select reboot system now.
