Tried everything you said, still edge does not work. This is only after the last update. Thank you for your help. Using another browser.

In reply to ruth white. Have you tried to reset the Edge web browser? Try that. You can go to settings, and in the settings, you can reset it.

my edge stopped working days ago just get grey screen wont let me into favourite bar or settings plus cant tap on links in email cause it goes to grey edge page regedit didn’t work

I seem to have lost Microsoft edge completely I cant even find it in my programs. When searching the web it comes up with either bing or yahoo depending on were I clock on. My default is set as edge.. I can still accsess the web so it is no great problem but I did like edge when I had it. Do I need to download it again.

I couldn’t find any current info (APRIL 2016) that made much sense or described my problem accurately enough – after an insider preview update last night to 14316, Edge crashed or closed every few minutes. I applied your straightforward measures, and Edge is fine now. Thanks!
