Configuring Parental Controls (Restrictions) on iPad Air, Mini, IPhone 6, 6 Plus

Is your child playing games too much on iPad or iPhone? Are you afraid if your child can be exposed to some junk websites such as adult sites and violence sites? Nowadays there is a thousands of junk websites and advertisements on the internet and we have to protect our children from it. Fortunately, there is a feature that called RESTRICTIONS on iPhone and iPad. Using this feature, you can give your child a permission to use selected applications, games, and websites. Now we are going to share how to set up Parental Controls on iPad and iPhone mobile devices.

 

Step 01. Go to Settings > General > Turn on Restrictions > Type in your password (Password that you used to access iPhone or iPad, when unlocking)

 

Step 02. Now we are going to limit adult contents from the Internet. Please tap on Websites > select Limit Adult Content

  • Limit Adult Content: It will block all adult websites automatically. You can also add a specific website that you want or you don’t want.

 

Step 03. Now we are going to limit the age for Movie, TV Show, Apps, and etc. You could see Movies, TV Shows, Books, and so on in the restrictions section. Tap on each category and set the age.

 

Step 04. It’s done configuring Restriction settings (parental controls). Now your child is safe from the junk contents. There are still more settings like iTunes Store, ibooks Store, Installing Apps, Deleting Apps, and etc. These settings are optional. If you don’t want your child to access App Store, you can simply turn off the iTunes Store switch. Like this, you can turn on and turn off settings looking carefully.
