Trying to reset LG Optimus F6 smartphone to its factory setting? Factory reset also called hard reset. LG Optimus F6 Hard Reset

Step 01. Make sure that your phone is completely shut down.

Step 02. Press and Hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together at the same time for few seconds. Soon factory reset screen will appears on the screen and it will ask you to reset the phone. Press the Power button to confirm when you get this black screen.

Step 03. As soon as you press the power button, you should get another confirm message. Press the Power button one more time to confirm.

Step 04. Wait until the factory reset process is done. It will take some time. Do not press any button while it’s processing.

Nexus 5X – Factory Reset & Wipe Cache Partition

Factory resetting means erasing everything on your smartphone. Today we are going to reset Nexus 5X smartphone to its factory reset. As we mentioned, it’s going to delete all of your data such as pictures, videos, and personal settings. So please try to backup if you have a lot of important data. There is one more important thing to do before hard resetting, which is fully charging your phone. We recommend you to fully charge your phone because your phone might be turned off while performing hard reset due to lack of battery. If you have one of the following problems below, it could be solved by factory resetting:

My Nexus 5X is frozen.
Screen won’t turn on after software updating.
Running too slow
No responding
Getting error messages

Tips. We recommend you to wipe cache partition first before factory reset. Wiping cache partition could solve the issue without deleting any data.

Wipe Cache Partition

Please check your phone is completely turned off before starting.

01. Press and Hold Volume Up + Down + Power buttons at the same time and release all buttons when you get the screen with the Android Robot logo.

02. Use the volume key to navigate Recovery Mode. Press the power button to confirm.

03. As soon as you selected the recovery mode, you will get this screen. Now Press and Hold the Power button and just press the volume up key while holding the power key.

04. Now you are in recovery mode. Please highlight Wipe Cache Partition option instead of Wipe Data/Factory Reset. You can use volume buttons to navigate and power button to select.

Wipe Data/Factory Reset

01. Make sure that your phone is completely shut down.

02. If your phone is completely turned off, Press and Hold Volume Up + Down + Power keys at the same time until you get the Android Robot screen. Once you get the Android Robot screen, please select Recovery mode using the volume button and select it by the power button.

03. Once you select Recovery Mode, you will get this screen. Now press and hold the power button and just press the Volume Up button while holding the power button.

04. Use the volume key to navigate to WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET and select it using the power button.

05. It will ask you to reset your phone for sure. Select Yes-delete all user data.

06. Wait till it gets done. After it’s finished, select Reboot System Now to restart your phone. Hope you solved the issues through factory resetting and wiping data cache.

LG G5 – Factory Reset & Wipe Cache

Today we are going to share how to reset your LG G5 to factory default. Factory reset will delete all your data so please be careful before starting. If you have a lot of important data, please create a backup file. Before Starting to reset, please fully charge your phone. If your phone battery is low, it might be turned off while operating. You can perform hard reset when your phone is in the following situation:

Phone is frozen or running too slow
Screen won’t work
Doesn’t turn on after update
Keep restarting (infinite loading)

01. Please make sure your phone is powered off completely.

02. Press and Hold Volume Down + Power buttons together until the recovery menu comes up on the screen.

03. When you get the recovery mode, you can release all buttons. Now navigate to Factory Data Reset option using volume down key and select it using the power key.

WIPE CACHE: If you just want to wipe cache, then select Wipe Cache. We recommend you to wipe cache first to solve the problem, because it doesn’t delete any of your data.

Factory Reset on LG G4

Step 01. Please shut down your phone completely.

Instructions on how to perform hard reset on your Google Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 smartphone (Motorola & LG)

Hello! Today, we are going to learn how to perform factory default in two different ways. This instruction is created for Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 smartphone. Let’s get started!

Factory Default in Settings (Nexus 6 & Nexus 5)

A backup is recommended before the factory default. If you have not made any backup, please make a backup first. This will remove all of your files and apps from your device.

Go to “Settings” –> “Backup & reset” –> “Factory data reset” –> “Erase everything” (if it asks PIN, enter your PIN number to process.)

How to hard reset (Nexus 6)

A hard reset can be performed when you cannot load android, or when you have problems with android operating system. This also will erase everything from your phone, so make a backup first.

Turn off your Nexus 6.
Press and hold “Volume Down“, “Volume Up“, and “Power“ buttons, the Nexus will turn on.
Press “Volume Down“ button twice to highlight “Recovery.”
Press “Power” button to begin Recovery mode. You’ll see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
Press and hold “Power” button. Then, while holding “Power” button, press and release “Volume Up“ button once.
Press “Volume Down” button twice to highlight “Wipe data/factory reset,” and then press “Power” button to select it.
Press “Volume Down” button 7 times to highlight “Yes – delete all user data,” and then press “Power“ button to select it.
After the reset is complete, press “Power” button to select the option to reboot your device.

After the reset is complete, press “Power” button to select the option to reboot your device.
