Cannot access network properties (ipv4 & ipv6 properties) in Windows 10, 8, 7

When you go to manage network connections and tried to see the properties, Windows shows an error message and you have no access in Windows 10, 8, and 7 ?

(an unexpected error occurred or Some of the controllers found on the properties tab are not available, because an other network properties tab is already open. To use the controllers, close all the tabs, and then open this one again)

Hello everyone, It’s P&T IT BROTHER. Recently, we have encountered a networking issue in Windows 7. We needed to change IP address and DNS server address of a computer that was attached to a domain, but for some reason, we couldn’t. Windows shows an error message, and we couldn’t gain access to the properties. Sounds like your problem ? Then why don’t you try this ?

How to fix this problem

1. Open Windows Command Prompt (CMD) You can simply type cmd in Windows Search. You better Run cmd as administrator.

2. When Windows Command Prompt is open, type the following:

netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

netsh winsock reset catalog

3. After typing those commands, exit from Windows Command Prompt, and try to access network properties again.

4. If you cannot access the network properties still, then try to uninstall the current network device driver, and re-install the driver. You can do it in Device Manager.

We hope all of you have fixed the problem!

Thank you!
